Artist Statement |
My process begins with a blank canvas, a wide range of colors on my palette, and little to no idea of what I want to accomplish. What I am determined to do is to make something that feels good to me. I often find myself allowing the paint to make some of the decisions. Embracing imperfections is something that has developed within me through experiencing life. My creative process is the most important element in my art because I enjoy the way paint and clay behave before they solidify. With each piece of art I create, I grow and discover new things regardless of what the end results may be.
